
Who are ASNZ?
​ASNZ is a non-for-profit organisation, led by a dedicated management committee. ASNZ plays a vital role in supporting Airsoft Sports in New Zealand by collaborate with local Airsoft clubs by providing guidance, structure, and resources that promote the growth and sustainability of the sport nationwide. It offers a platform for clubs to discuss challenges and collaborate on initiatives that contribute to the development of Airsoft. ASNZ works to unify clubs under a shared set of rules, regulations, and safety standards, ensuring consistency and fairness in gameplay.




AIRSOFT
EXPLAINED
Airsoft is a dynamic sport for individuals and teams, designed to simulate military combat scenarios using battery, gas, spring, or air-powered Airguns. Commonly known as Airsoft Rifles or Markers, they are specifically engineered to be low powered and safe for Airsoft Sports, shooting small plastic pellets, known as BBs.

Airsoft games come in various formats to suit different preferences, from short, fast-paced scenarios (CQB) to extensive 24 or 48 hour military simulations (milsims). There are also role-play events that add an immersive narrative element to the experience. Whether you prefer quick action, extended realism, or a mix of everything, there's a style of play for everyone in airsoft.
