This is not a military style game, we encourage people to dress in as little camo as possible, ideally none. Webbing and vests are fine for carrying kit, but try to wear civilian clothing. Think future gangster theme. There will be prizes for best dressed among other things. In the Cursed Earth, camouflage is a restricted item. Any citizens seen wearing it will arouse suspicion, be subject to an increased chance of being interrogated and possibly arrested by the Judges.

EXAMPLES OF DRESS CODE:

These are some examples of the type of kit we're looking for. Team colours will be announced closer to the time
ASNZ Standard rules

Player Conduct:
(D.B.A.D Rule)
Airsoft is a sport requiring a high level of integrity, honesty, and sportsmanship. As such we have implemented a "Don't be a Dick" rule. This rule should be fairly self-explanatory. Basically, in any situation where there is doubt about whether you are hit, it's always better to take the hit. By the same token, if you're the shooter - be quick to give the benefit of the doubt to the other player. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for all those interested in Airsoft.
Any hit to the body, limbs, or head is considered a kill. Hits to the gun being held by the player are ignored and play continues without pause.

Call yourself hit when hit. If in doubt, call yourself hit to be safe. Make sure you yell hit, place your hit rag on your head/gun and where possible act out your death loud enough so everyone knows you’re hit.

A Bang Kill/Freeze Kill rule will not be enforced, but DBAD still applies (Lighting someone up unnecessarily at close range is Being A Dick).

When hit please remain in place for 180 seconds with your Killrag on your head before heading to your respawn area. This will allow kill/capture based objectives to be completed properly. After 180 seconds you can call yourself "Bled Out" and cannot interact with other players until you respawn

Any of your team mates may perform a 30 second touch medic on you by placing one hand on your body and counting 30 seconds. Once 30 seconds has been counted you will call "back in" and carry on playing

When dead and bled out, you will return to the Hall of Justice to register your death with admin, then return to your team base to respawn.

Knife Kills:

If you can sneak up on someone and tap them on the shoulder before they know you’re there, that is a “knife kill” and they are hit. This is a very rare move and is highly commendable. When knife killed there is no opportunity to get a medic and there is no bleed out, you will immediately hand over any captured game items and go to the Hall of Justice, then to your respawn.

Rate of Fire:

 Full auto is allowed

	WHAT TO BRING:

 Airsoft guns and gear

Food and Drink. We will be putting on a sausage sizzle lunch and a BBQ dinner on the Saturday which is included in the price.

 A Red Killrag

	DRESS CODE:

	SITE RULES

	Safety:

Certified safety goggles or other certified eye protection must be worn at all times in the field of play.

All weapons must be rendered safe when in any designated safe zone.

During CQB, Full face protection is recommended.

ASNZ FPS rules and MED's will be adhered to

A Red Killrag must be used when hit, to minimise additional hits.

All instructions by Airsoft Hawkes Bay directing staff must be followed at all times.

	Standard Energy/FPS limits:

	ASNZ Standard rules

	Player Conduct:

	(D.B.A.D Rule)

Airsoft is a sport requiring a high level of integrity, honesty, and sportsmanship. As such we have implemented a "Don't be a Dick" rule. This rule should be fairly self-explanatory. Basically, in any situation where there is doubt about whether you are hit, it's always better to take the hit. By the same token, if you're the shooter - be quick to give the benefit of the doubt to the other player. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment for all those interested in Airsoft.

	SCENARIO SPECIFIC RULES

	Hit Rules:

Hi All

Its not that long till the Zone opens its gates again this year on 7th of March

Last scientists expedition to Lost Anomaly (Jan 2014) revealed that there are a lot of unexplored and forgotten territories within the zone. Military intelligence revealed a small enclave with unusual anomalous activities. For some reason emissions are more frequent and powerful in this particular territory. Rumours leaked to stalkers, and Yar decided to send couple of scouts to the area. 7 months later, they have returned, with artefacts never seen before, told stories about the treasure troves in the dangerous lands, new kinds of snorks and bloodsuckers, stronger and faster and new type of emission, unseen before in the zone. Artefacts turned out to be of great value for scientists, who paid the scouts so well, they have left the Zone forever.

Scientists expedition is being sent with military escort to research the new territory. For some odd reason, Freedom sent a strong squad there to establish an outpost in the area. Stalkers are getting ready to explore a new land and finally get rich or die trying.

Freedoms established outpost stopped reporting in, and scouts sent there to find out what happened never returned.

Prepare yourself for new challenge, new dangers and new experiences.

Game will run if we get 50 Stalkers, 12 Bandits and 4 scientists.

Event will be held at 380 Wilson Rd, South Head Auckland

Map : http://gnear.net/lyubov.jpg

Price of the event is $50 for those who pre-register.
Contagion III

Presented by FTA

Background

Following the events of last November and missile strike on London the world is struggling to cope with the total loss of the United Kingdom and annihilation of 50% of humanity.

The pathological GG Alliance, led by Shadow, has managed to weaponise the MZ-virus developing a strain where the Z-Tex vaccination is 100% affective if administered before any infection. Additionally the Kantor-Vor antidote will reverse the affects of the virus if administered within 15 minutes of infection. With this information the GG Alliance is currently holding the world to ransom. Shadow has not been seen since mysteriously disappearing in December 2013.

The world is in chaos as nobody has any ideas where the GG Alliance is operating from. This has led to the world splitting into two factions, one led by the Central Disease Control (CDC) which remains allied with mercenary squad blue.

Meanwhile the Independent People’s Army (IPA) has set up in opposition of the CDC blaming them for failing to stop the GG Alliance over the last 2 year due to gross incompetence. The IPA has been formed out of the remains of mercenary squad blue who have been disavowed by the GG Alliance.

As a result in October 2014 the CDC and IPA both sent their top researchers and militants back to the sight of BioGen’s last known laboratory (albeit now destroyed) in the hope of finding the information on the weaponised MZ-Virus and anything on the Z-Tex vaccination or Kantor-Vor antidote which can help them stop the outbreak and assert control over the remaining world.

Both sides are willing to recruit anyone capable of bearing arms to join their cause.

Finally there remains the possibility the MZ-virus could mutate again.

Stay tuned for more ...

Note - The below information may change slightly between now and the game day. Please ensure you reread this first post at least 3 days prior to the game.

Location: TBA

Arrival Time: AFTER 0915 Saturday

Brief: 1000 Saturday (DO NOT BE LATE AND BE READY TO GO)

Game On: 1100 Saturday (This is when the shooting starts)

Game Off: 1100 Sunday

Cost: $40 Registration is REQUIRED by 12 November

Safe areas/Safety Rules:

- This is an overnight game and will play through the entire night. Normal ASA FPS limits will apply. However we HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL PLAYERS WEAR FULL FACE PROTECTION AT NIGHT AS PEOPLES PERCEPTION OF DISTANCE WILL NOT BE VERY RELIABLE. Getting shot in the pitch black by a 400 fps gun is part of the risk of the game.

- There is no safe area. If you have an issue contact the DS on channel 18. All vehicles are out of bounds for the ENTIRE game.

Additional Information:

This is a team based Milsim scenario - therefore anyone intending to attend will be expected to play with a team and abide by the rules. As such players will be expected to follow the lead of their self designated squad/team leaders. This is not a casual game there may be periods with little shooting and if you die respawn can be a prolonged affair.

Required Gear:

- Radio*

- Watch*

- Torch*

- Hitmarker*

- 3 litres of water

- Food

- Pistol (wherever possible)

- Warm clothes for night

* MUST be carried at ALL times

Recommended Gear:

- Sleeping bag

- Wet weather gear

Rules

Game Items:

- All items must be forfeit no matter how many the player carries if another player can put two hands on their shoulders for 30 seconds. (The only exception to this is where an item has a limited life and has already been used).

- As the valuable research materials are extremely unstable they can only be transported one at a time. (You can only get a second once the 1st is securely at your base). The same rule applies if you are raiding another team’s base.

Medic Rules: (Idea borrowed from Ash's Operation Overnight)

- Medics may heal injured players by wrapping a bandage twice round the persons arm, cutting it off and taping it in place.

- Medics have 5 minutes from the time the person is injured to complete this before the person bleeds out and dies.

- A player can be Medic'd twice (one bandage per arm); before if hit again they are killed immediately.

- If you are killed immediately, or not medic'd in time you must return to your base to respawn. You must wait 20minutes at your base before re-entering the game.

- Bandages can be removed from your arms by spending 5 minutes per bandage with a medic at HQ. You must both be inactive during this period.

Capturing Opposition:

- You may take opposition Team members as prisoners by medic’ing them.

- When you capture an opposition player they must be returned to your base.

- Once a prisoner is returned to your base you must radio the DS.

- Captured players must do as instructed if you are touching them OR at all times once returned to your base.

- Prisoners can be held for 45minutes.

BACK STORY :

In 2020, due to intensified crack downs on drug running operations travelling through American borders as well as increased DEA presence locally; small-time drug peddling has almost ceased to exist. However, illegal drug consumption has still remained at an all time high. The American drug trade has long been under the sole control of one organisation, the Demanos family.

The Demanos family, born of one of the oldest of the organised crime mafia families is powerful enough to bribe senators and threaten border police in order to maintain their drug operation. Utilising their wealth, power and influence, they have been able to keep a monopoly on the American drug trade, remaining unchallenged for a number of years. Steeped in tradition, the Demanos see themselves as proud and honourable, with a dedication to ‘old world’ values. However, they are not above extortion and maintaining a small private army of their own. The current head of the Demanos family is Ettore Demanos, a well educated and highly respected man.

The extent of the Demanos family drug network extends across the entire continental United States. However recently, connections have been lost to the south, and sales towards the southern states have been dwindling. Product production facilities have also been disappearing without explanation, serving to fuel Ettore Demanos’ frustrations. Information has been spreading, that a new contender has arisen to challenge the long held Demanos monopoly.

The Rojas cartel is the largest of the South American drug cartels, and are executing plans to re-expand back into the American market, having been absent for the past decade. While the typical cartel member would be described as wild, with a tendency for violence, the leadership of the Rojas is with no lack of brains and cunning. Marcelo Rojas, the young successor to the Rojas cartel leadership is a man of ambition. Long has he envisioned the control of drug smuggling return back to the hands of cartels such as his, and with the passing of his late father, he is set to put his vision to reality.

In the jungles of Panama, lie the main Rojas production fields. Ettore, angered by the Rojas encroaching into his territory, has led a charge of Demanos enforcers to strike at Rojas drug production.

To complicate the situation, a powerful mercenary group has become more active in the area. While friends to neither the Rojas nor Demanos, they are always willing to exchange services for payment.

In the badlands of the Panamanian jungles, blood will be spilt as two families clash, vying for control in a violent drug war.

GAME DETAILS:

Nomads of Auckland welcome you to our 24 hour milsoft game

DS : HEATHEN & CHOPPER

ARRIVE : from 0900

GAME BRIEF : 1000 all mission briefs will be handed to respective Team leaders of the Rojas team and the Demanos team

GAME START : 1100

ENDEX : sunday 26th october 1100

FEE : $50.00

this covers field hire props and end of game bbq and refreshments

A MAX energy limit of 1.7j (430 fps on 0.2g) will be in place and all guns crono'd.
